Lord God,
I pray for my godchild(ren) today [Name(s)] that he(she) may grow strong in faith and love, discovering more of the world around him (her), and exploring your great love as he (she) works and plays and rests.
Strengthen me in the practice of the faith that I may be an example for my godchild. See that the divine life which God gives him (her) is kept safe from the poison of sin, to grow always stronger in his (her) heart.
May the grace of his Baptism, the remission of Original Sin, and the gift of the Holy Spirit seal his heart for God and protect him from evil all the days of your life.
