Prayer for Your Child to Attract Godly Friends, Mentors & Role Models

Lord,

I pray for my child, (name of child).

Please bring godly friends into her/his life who honor You and would benefit her/his walk with You. Send great role models her/his way to influence her/him in godly ways. Give her/him the wisdom to choose the friends You desire she/he would have.

I pray that she/he would find her/his acceptance in You and not go looking for it in other places, including harmful friendships.

Give me discernment through the Holy Spirit to help guide my child in choosing great friends.

If there is anyone who is not a godly influence in her/his life, remove that person or transform that person by Your Holy Spirit.

Protect my child from the companion of fools and allow her/him to find great joy in being around wise friends. Whenever my child loses a friend, comfort her/him and my send new friends to her/his side. Show her that her/him self-esteem is in You and not in others.
