Lord,
I come to You on behalf of my child, (name of child).
Joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I pray that my child is full of the gift of joy.
May he/she know the overwhelming spirit of joy experienced by spending time in Your presence. May he/she be full of the happiness that is only found in You.
Surround him/her with Your joy whenever the enemy tries to overtake him with negativity, depression, discouragement, anger, loneliness, despair, or rejection. Deliver him/her from these things.
Negative emotions are a product of the lies the enemy speaks to him/her/her. Deeply enrich him with Your truth to fight these lies and increase his faith.
Help him/her abide in Your love and joy all the days of his/her life.
Grant unto him/her the strength that is found in the joy of You every day of his/her life.
